Audi



Audi AG is a German automobile manufacturer with headquarters in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, and has been an almost wholly owned (99.7%) subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group since 1964. The company evolved from Auto Union, NSU, Horch and DKW, the former having incorporated the historic Audi company which was founded in 1910.

Audi's corporate tagline is Vorsprung durch Technik, the English translation meaning Advancement through Technology or Head Start through Technology. This German-language tagline is also used in other European countries, including the UK, and in other markets, such as Latin America, Oceania and parts of Asia including Japan. The American and Canadian tagline is Truth in Engineering.

Audi A3



The Audi A3 is an entry-level luxury car/small family car produced by the German automaker Audi since 1996. Two generations of A3 exist, both based on the Volkswagen A platform, which they share with several other models such as the Audi TT, Volkswagen Golf, Caddy and Touran as well as Škoda Octavia and SEAT León.

Audi A4



The Audi A4 is a compact executive car produced by the German automaker Audi since 1994. It is the successor of the Audi 80.

Audi A5



The Audi A5 is luxury coupé produced by the German automobile manufacturer Audi. The Audi A5 was unveiled simultaneously at the Geneva Motor Show and Melbourne International Motor Show on March 6, 2007. Audi bills the coupé as a grand tourer to compete against the likes of the BMW E92 (BMW 3-Series coupé) and the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class.

Audi A6



The Audi A6 is a mid-size luxury car / executive car produced by the German automaker Audi. It is available in saloon and station wagon (Avant) body styles. The second generation A6 was also used as the basis for the allroad quattro. Its primary competitors are the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5-Series, Saab 9-5, Alfa Romeo 166, Jaguar S-Type, Lexus GS and Volvo S80.

Audi A8



The Audi A8 is a full-size luxury executive car built by the German automaker Audi to replace the V8 model as its flagship offering. First brought to the market in 1994, most versions of the A8 have featured quattro all-wheel-drive as standard as well as a Multitronic or Tiptronic automatic transmission. The A8 rivals long-running German competitors, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series, along with the Jaguar XJ, Lexus LS, and the long-wheelbase Volkswagen Phaeton; all are competitors in the same size and price category. Two generations of the A8 have been produced in both short and long wheelbase form.

Audi TT



The Audi TT is a sports car produced by Audi since 1998 in Győr, Hungary.

Audi R8



The Audi R8 is a mid-engined sports car introduced by the German automaker Audi in 2007.

The first appearance of the car was in 2006, appearing at auto shows and events all over the world. The R8 is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo platform, as Audi has full ownership of subsidiary Lamborghini S.p.A.. Audi announced in 2005 that the name of the successful Audi R8 race car would be used for a new road car in 2007, the Audi R8, based on the Audi Le Mans quattro concept car, which was based on the earlier Audi RSQ concept vehicle, appearing at the 2003 Geneva Auto Show and 2003 International Motor Show. The R8 was officially launched at the Paris Auto Show on 30 September 2006. There is some confusion with the name which the car shares with the Le Mans winning R8 LMP. Originally, many thought the car would be called the R9 (as there is a gap in numbering left when Audi announced the R8's successor, the diesel-powered R10).

Audi Q7



The Audi Q7 is a full-size luxury SUV produced by German automaker Audi since 2006. It was designed with the help of engineers such as Jack Malde and McHewgor. The Q denotes a new family of vehicles for Audi, designated the 7 in its placement between the Audi A6 and Audi A8.
